Lately, I've been realizing that there are a lot of things I take for granted. There are so many things that I don't have to think or worry about that spoil me badly.
Things I'm grateful for/take for granted:
- My dad fixes my car. (Without me asking, most of the time.)
- I can buy band-aids, and they pretty much match my skin tone.
- I count on getting a good night's sleep, almost every night.
- I can see, hear, speak, and write without difficulties.
- Cooking is optional for me, thanks to my mom.
- I don't have to pay rent, have things maintained, or worry about buying food.
- When I walk into a store, I am almost always treated nicely by the staff.
- I can walk and drive, and get where I need to go...
- There's always someone who loves me.
- After a long day at school, I can come home and ride my horse.
- ...and be greeted by an adorable, smiling dog.
- I can go outside for a run, even late at night, and be totally safe.
- I am healthy.
- If I ever have to take anything, I'm usually okay with just one Advil.
- I can always find clothes that fit... and if I can't, it's just because I wear the most common sizes.
- I have my teeth.
- I have a safe, comfortable place to live, with people who are amazing. (Even if they are my parents.)
- I get along with my parents.
- I love my sister.
- My friends are like family.
- There's always someone I can talk to..
- School is a joy, and work isn't so bad, either.
- I have a job.
- I always have something to do...
- There's a washer and dryer here, and I can use them.
