  • Lately, I've been realizing that there are a lot of things I take for granted.  There are so many things that I don't have to think or worry about that spoil me badly.

Things I'm grateful for/take for granted:
    • My dad fixes my car.  (Without me asking, most of the time.)
    • I can buy band-aids, and they pretty much match my skin tone.
    • I count on getting a good night's sleep, almost every night.
    • I can see, hear, speak, and write without difficulties.
    • Cooking is optional for me, thanks to my mom.
    • I don't have to pay rent, have things maintained, or worry about buying food.
    • When I walk into a store, I am almost always treated nicely by the staff.
    • I can walk and drive, and get where I need to go...
    • There's always someone who loves me.
    • After a long day at school, I can come home and ride my horse.
    • ...and be greeted by an adorable, smiling dog.
    • I can go outside for a run, even late at night, and be totally safe.
    • I am healthy.
    • If I ever have to take anything, I'm usually okay with just one Advil.
    • I can always find clothes that fit... and if I can't, it's just because I wear the most common sizes.
    • I have my teeth.
    • I have a safe, comfortable place to live, with people who are amazing.  (Even if they are my parents.)
    • I get along with my parents.
    • I love my sister.
    • My friends are like family.
    • There's always someone I can talk to..
    • School is a joy, and work isn't so bad, either.
    • I have a job.
    • I always have something to do...
    • There's a washer and dryer here, and I can use them.
