Yesterday, on my way out of work, I crossed the street, as I've grown accustomed to doing. Previously, I had been in the habit of remaining on the same side of the street, until I arrived at the street where I park. However, after being repeatedly being heckled by apartment dwellers while passing them by, I changed my route slightly, in an effort to avoid them.
In any case, I was walking down the sidewalk yesterday, and came across a minivan full of hippies. There were two of them sitting on the stoop of a hotel, and a few more in the van. That's all well and fine, until I got a little closer. It was a man and a woman, sitting on the stoop. They both had dreads, and looked a little dirty, but that wasn't the problem. The man had a rather interesting outfit on, so I was trying not to stare while looking at it (which means, I was probably staring).
It turns out he was wearing the bottom part of pants on his legs, along with a skirt. Now, seeing as it was a hot day, I can sympathize; skirts are much better ventilated than pants, after all. The problem was that he apparently wasn't wearing any underwear, and had not been versed in the ills of sitting in an unladylike fashion whilst being skirted. Yes, he was sitting on the stoop, balls hanging out of his skirt. Oh my. Saggy, hairy balls. Either he didn't notice, or he wanted to prove that it takes balls for a man to wear a skirt. (Or it's just a ballsy move, wearing a skirt, in the first place?) Needless to say, I quickly averted my gaze, and went my merry way. Admittedly, I was wishing I could have discretely snapped a picture with my phone, seeing as that's [hopefully] a once in a lifetime occurrence...
