Sometimes, someone (usually a male someone) asks if I want to do something. Lately, I've gotten so I say yes to a certain person (hehe), but thinking about it, that had not been the case with most who asked. They often got a legitimate excuse as to why I couldn't go - even if it sounded like I was making things up. So, I think it's time for a top [7] list. Without further ado, the top reasons I couldn't go out last night.
- I needed to come home and study/write a paper that's due in two weeks. But I'm going to be really busy the next couple of weeks, and won't have time to write it closer to its deadline.
- I already have plans to go out tonight... with my dad.
- I told my friends I would go to their house. (And watch crappy chick flicks; I don't actually want to go, but I'd rather do that than go out with you.)
- I need to let my dog out, and keep her company; she gets lonely.
- I would rather ride my horse.
- I need to go home, so I can finish crocheting my friend legwarmers for a Richard Simmons costume I'm making her for Christmas.
- I had to stop.. and look for a dress. For my dad...
